Who this is for
Procurement, customer-care and finance owners comparing outsourced support for one consistent channel, region and language scope.
Start with the commercial questions
1. Set one common workload
Enter contacts, handling minutes, occupancy, shrinkage and paid hours per FTE. These are your assumptions, not supplier guarantees.
2. Translate each quoted unit
Select paid hour, productive hour, contact or FTE-month. Confirm the quotation uses the same definition and account for minimum billed units.
3. Review the modeled commitment
Keep setup separate from recurring cost. Inspect year-one cost and constant-volume three-year projections before a commercial recommendation.
A unit rate is not a staffing model
One productive hour and one paid hour are not interchangeable. The workbook shows the conversion under your occupancy and shrinkage assumptions, but it does not forecast a queue or prove that a service-level target can be met.

Know before you buy
Not a queueing, scheduling or service-level model. No FX, tax, ramp curve, partial-period proration or chat-concurrency calculation. Quantities and minimums remain constant across the projection; recurring uplift applies to all modeled recurring fees. No automated supplier selection. Formula tests and export/reimport passed; native Excel UI compatibility and actual customer outcomes are not claimed.
No bespoke advice, implementation or supplier negotiation is included. Internal business use for one purchasing organization; see the included license.
Common questions
Can I combine regions and channels?
Keep each comparison on one consistent scope. Use separate copies for materially different regions, channels or languages, then reconcile totals outside the model.
Are the example rates market benchmarks?
No. They are invented arithmetic for learning the model. Use supplier quotes and approved assumptions for your own comparison.
